About me
John de La Fontaine is a fifth-generation Californian from the Central Coast area. He attended High School in the Silicon Valley before it was known as such and has a Bachelor's from the University of California, Riverside in Linguistics. After jaunts to Lake Wobegon and Phoenix, John received his MLS from the University of Arizona. Returning to California, John has been at Occidental College (Los Angeles) for 28 years working in Acquisitions, Systems, and Resource Sharing. He is a member of the LINK+ (INN-Reach) steering committee, Coordinator of the SCELC Camino project (OCLC Navigator), and Chair of the SCELC Resource Sharing Committee. His present title is Head of Collections Services.
